Gistory

       Hi! Now I am going to mention about Gistory app. I have to admit that I did not understand that much about this app but I am going to write what I understood. So again you can download the app from both the App Store and Google Play Store. There is two different gistory types on the homepage.

    The first one is Learning Present Continues Tense. When you open it you start to solve a quiz. An image is given above and a question is asked about it. You choose your answer and than you can check it if it’s right or not.  

   The second one is a story that continues according to your choices just like the film black mirror: bandersnatch. I also recommend that film. The second gistory’s name is Around The World in 80 Days. 

   So thinking as a teacher, you may prepare an enjoyable story for your students to make choices or a little quiz about your lesson thank ti this app. Do I recommend it? I am not really sure because i tried to do a new gistory but there was some problems so I couldn’t make it... So ‘+Add a gistory’ button actually is a problematic button... 

Edmodo

  Hello everyone! In this blog I am going to write about an app called Edmodo. You can access the app from both App Store for ios and Google Play Store for android. And it’s free.

    The app is designed for three types of people; teachers, students and the parents. I am going to tell about the students part because I am a student and I use this app as a student. So at the beginning you ought to sign in with your gmail. Then you are going to need a course code that is given by your teacher to add it in your courses on edmodo. Next step is typing the code and access to course. 

    After joining the course you can follow all the activities. Teachers can share videos, links, assignments, announcements and grades with the students via this app. And if you allow app to send you notifications it will be easier to keep in touch. Students are also can view the assignments, turn in the assignments send messages to the teachers. There is also a planner part of the app. You can make a plan according to the deadlines of your assignments. 

   As I mentioned above I also use this app as a student and I really am grateful for this. Because it is making the communication easier for me. I get the notification as soon as something new is up. So I recommend this app to anyone who is searching an app like this. 

Podcast

     Hello agaaiiin! Today I am going to share my podcast with you guys. I’ve talked about a teaching method called Communicating Language Teaching. I actually gave some tips about it. I recorded this podcast with the help of a app called Anchor. It makes so easy to record a podcast. All you have to do is choosing a topic and the click the start button and talk. Hope you enjoy listening my short podcast^^

My own Udemy experience

     I also experienced and attended some courses on Udemy. That was fun because I actually chose some easy courses according to my interests. These are my courses;

      I finished one of them (say no stay friends) and got the certificate just after finishing the course. The certificate is sent to my gmail directly. And there is my certificate.

     You can access various lessons via its app or the website. You can download the app from app store for ios or Google Play Store for Android. After downloading you should sign in with your gmail or facebook etc.

    After signing in you choose the category of the course that you want to take. It can be about you career, hobies or academics. There are lots of categories as marketing, lifestyle, office productivity... 

   You will find hundreds of courses in each category so there is a button that you can narrow down your category. For example if you do not want to spend money for the online course you can narrow down it and see only the free courses. There are more titles for detailing. 

   After narrowing and choosing your course all you have to do is click on the Enroll Now button and start your course. 

    After finishing your course, some teachers supply you the certificate of his/her lesson. You may use it in you career life too. Hope you enjoy this app^^
